Socrates was a founder of Philosophy

Introduction:
Socrates, a Greek philosopher is the founder of Western philosophy. He is the teacher of Plato, whose student is Aristotle.
Philosophy:
Socratic method to solve problem was the first method introduced by Socrates, by which you can judge someone's mentality, thoughts and beliefs. He thought independently, what he examined and concluded with his intellectual mind. He was accused for corrupting the beliefs of the young generation, unfaithful to the Athenian society and against the politics of Athens. When he was brought before the jury and asked to defend himself. He replied unexpectedly to them, that they are wrong headed due to their concern with their personal relations, future and politics, which is not good for the welfare of their souls, people and society. This clash of thoughts lead Socrates to end his life and popularity of his political philosophy, moral philosophy and ethics. A saying of Socrates that, "I know that I know nothing", has a great philosophy behind this.
Socratic Problem:
There was no book written by Socrates himself. All of his philosophy depends upon the Socratic dialogues written in Plato's writings like 'Apology', 'Crito', 'Phaedo' and 'Symposium. The philosophy of Socrates can be seen in his most intelligent student Plato. There are no sources to understand the Socrates philosophy other than the Plato, so we have to believe upon that, which is told by Plato.
Death of Socrates:
He was given a chance to live out of his country, but his patriotism, love with his society, and his philosophy that he is not wrong led him to death. He stood against the corrupt politics and gave birth to new philosophy of virtue and moral ethics.
